Requirements:
- Operate a cemetery, mausoleum, columbarium, or crematory in the State of Oregon for one year or more.
- Attend board meetings.
- Attend annual conference.
- Act as an advocate for the organization to the outside public.
- Educate yourself on the purpose, history, and needs of CAO.
- Keep current on trends and issues affecting CAO.
- Conduct outreach to industry contacts for membership recruitment and participation.
- Awareness of state and federal laws that affect the cemetery industry.
- Knowledge of the ORS 97 and OAR 830.
- In compliance with the OMCB.
